When I get here I’m sad and stressed and can’t even think clearly, but by the time I leave I don’t feel sad or stressed out. I know I can talk to them about anything and everything.
Providing Walk-in Screening and Resource Support for Individuals and Families Experiencing Mental Health, Substance Related, or Situational Distress
Initial Adult Outpatient services are accessed through a daily Walk-In Clinic which provides you with an opportunity to meet with an HCRS professional. During this initial session, Walk-in Clinic staff will provide a safe place to talk about what is going on in your life, help you identify some strengths and resources to deal with your struggles, and may refer you to ongoing HCRS services or to other services provided in the community. Brief screening questions are asked to help determine the best course of action to help you solve the challenges you may be facing.
The Walk-in Clinic is available to individuals who are not already receiving other HCRS services and is free of charge if you are uninsured. No appointment is necessary, although we do see people on a first-come, first-served basis.
Locations and times of our Walk-in Clinic hours are:
|Springfield:||Monday – Friday, 9am – 12pm|
|Brattleboro:||Monday - Tuesday, 9am – 11am|
