Their donation supports activities for clients with developmental disabilities that would otherwise go unfunded. A few of the programs that have been made possible by this funding include a garden project which teaches developmentally disabled adults skills for raising plants and food from seed to harvest, the local Special Olympics chapter, Green Mountain Self Advocates – a program to teach developmentally disabled people how to speak up for themselves, and supported arts instruction, just to name a few.
