The Developmental Services (DS) Program of HCRS held its 4th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for DS clients and Shared Living Providers on November 11^th at the Moose Lodge in Bellows Falls. Over 100 clients and Shared Living Providers from across Windham and Windsor counties attended this gathering in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Moose Lodge kitchen was filled with HCRS staff who served over 140 pounds of moist turkey and 30 pounds of scrumptious potatoes, complete with all the fixings. Following the meal, attendees were treated to delicious apple pie generously donated by Allen Brothers of Westminster, Vermont.

All participants were entered into a raffle to win the edible apple turkey centerpieces made by DS staff. The DS Thanksgiving Dinner Committee would like to thank all staff and volunteers for their help in making this year’s holiday event successful for our consumers.
