HCRS is very pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with Kindle Farm School in Newfane, Vermont. Kindle Farm and HCRS have collaborated on children’s services for many years, creating a natural pairing to enhance therapeutic services and programming at the school.

HCRS places high value on client feedback and is pleased to incorporate client feedback into our decision making processes. The opinions of those we serve are a critical factor in our strategic program planning and review. In addition to on-going feedback from our Program Standing Committee members and other forums, HCRS also invites written feedback on an annual basis from our clients through a more formalized survey instrument.

By demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s national standards for health care quality and safety, HCRS has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for another three years. HCRS is the only state-designated community mental health agency in Vermont to receive this accreditation.

HCRS, in collaboration with the Council on Aging of Southeastern Vermont, operates an Elder Care Program, one of a number of elder care programs around the State, which provides in-home and community-based mental health services to people 60 years of age or older.

HCRS is pleased to announce that Ed Piper has received his Psychologist-Doctorate license from the State of Vermont. Dr. Piper, a Clinical Supervisor for HCRS’ Adult Outpatient program in Hartford, began his goal to become a Clinical Psychologist in 1993 when he returned to Vermont with his family following a decade in the Navy.
