HCRS is very pleased to announce that Debbi Kelin Smith has recently taken a position as Behavioral Health Community Care Coordinator providing mental health and substance abuse services at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vermont.

Funded through a 3-year federal Blueprint for Health grant, this position is a collaboration between HCRS and Mt. Ascutney Hospital to offer screenings, counseling, and service coordination to clients at the health clinic. Debbi will be working with the Community Health Team at the hospital to provide support to individuals who have chronic healthcare needs and/or depression. She will also be doing alcohol and drug assessments and working with people individually as well as part of a larger team. When asking Debbi about her new position, she stated, “I’m excited to be a part of the incredible team here at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center.”

Debbi has worked for HCRS for over 10 years, most recently as the Intensive Family Based Services Coordinator and Community Supports Supervisor.
