HCRS seeks an energetic, person-centered, and experienced leader to assume the role of Director of Human Resources. This position would be responsible for providing leadership in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the human resource function of our $47 million non-profit agency. The successful candidate will bring forward thinking ideas on culture change, talent acquisition, and organizational strategy and can demonstrate successful execution of those strategies through influence and collaboration.

The Human Resources Director is responsible for helping leadership align organizational and people capabilities with business strategy and needs, optimizing the employee experience, and driving an organizational climate that attracts, develops, and retains top talent across all locations. The HR Director will lead a team of 7 human resource staff for an organization of 600 employees.

Areas of Responsibility

The major areas of responsibility include recruitment and employment, orientation, training, compensation and benefits, unemployment and workers compensation, labor relations, job documentation, and performance evaluation and improvement.

Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and experience in management of a complex Human Resource department for a large organization. Minimum of 10 years of human resources experience with 5+ years in an HR leadership role. This position requires knowledge of relevant governmental regulations and legislation.
