If you have experience using ASL (American Sign Language), and have a desire to support people with disabilities, we have an opportunity for you! HCRS is seeking individuals or couples in Southern Vermont (Windham & Windsor counties), willing to open their home to a deaf person. This individual enjoys gaming, and it is a big part of his life, so familiarity with gaming is a plus. An extra bedroom and time to provide support is a must. A valid driver’s license and insurance is required. You will receive training and case management support. A generous tax-free stipend of $33,660 is also provided.
