Testimonials
View AllI look forward to coming to work every day, not something that can be said for all jobs and employers! I feel supported as a professional and as a person with a life outside of work. I appreciate an environment that fosters professional development and personal growth and encourages me to draw on my individual talents. I have had great mentors who helped me to grow in my career and navigate the challenges of this important work. HCRS staff have a sense of humor that helps us get through the stressful situations that arise, with great collaboration and teamwork!

Providing Walk-in Screening and Resource Support for Individuals and Families Experiencing Mental Health, Substance Related, or Situational Distress
Adult Outpatient services may also be accessed through a daily Walk-In Clinic which provides you with an opportunity to meet with an HCRS professional. During this initial session, Walk-in Clinic staff will provide a safe place to talk about what is going on in your life, help you identify some strengths and resources to deal with your struggles, and may refer you to ongoing HCRS services or to other services provided in the community. Brief screening questions are asked to help determine the best course of action to help you solve the challenges you may be facing.
The Walk-in Clinic is available to individuals who are not already receiving other HCRS services and is free of charge if you are uninsured. No appointment is necessary, although we do see people on a first-come, first-served basis.
Locations and times of our Walk-in Clinic hours are:
Springfield: | Monday – Friday, 9am – 11am |
Brattleboro: | Monday, Tuesday, Friday 9am – 11am |
Wednesday, Thursday, 1pm - 3pm |

Hartford: | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am - 11am |
