Therapeutic Community Residences
HCRS’s Therapeutic Community Residential Programs comprise 18 beds across two programs within our residential services continuum. These facilities are located in Woodstock and Ludlow, Vermont. Each program places a primary focus on community integration and independent living skill development as fundamental components of each individual’s journey toward sustainable recovery. Each program offers 24-hour staffing assistance to provide support, coaching, and service coordination for all individuals during their admission.
Woodstock Therapeutic Care Residence, Woodstock, Vermont
Woodstock Therapeutic Care Residence is an eight-bed facility open to men and women over the age of 18 who experience severe and persistent mental illness and are currently enrolled in the HCRS CRT Program. The primary focus of this program is to transition each resident into their own apartment upon graduation. Through collaborative and integrated residential supports, each individual develops personalized treatment goals, reviewed daily, which focus on independent living and community integration skill development

Beekman House, Ludlow, Vermont
Beekman House is a 10-bed, therapeutic community residence, located in Ludlow, Vermont for adult males, over the age of 18, who are eligible for HCRS CRT Services. Beekman House employs the therapeutic environment to help facilitate the individual’s progress toward the development of independent living skills, which encompass self care, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, and relational/social skills development to include social, communication, conflict resolution, assertiveness, leadership, and personal recovery.
