HCRS’ 6th annual Golf Tournament for Autism was a tremendous success! Held on June 21 at Tater Hill Golf Club in Windham, 80 players took to the greens raising over $19,000 for Autism needs in our communities.
Players competed for a Toyota Corolla hole-in-one prize and for longest drive and closest to the pin awards. In addition, participants received great gifts and participated in a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Following the tournament, everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner.
The first place winners of the golf tournament were the Black River Produce Team (Steve Birge, Rick Marasa, Dan Tricarico, and Tim Kangas). Second place went to the TSP Plumbing Team (Jarrod James, Tim Patterson, Nate Keefe, and Richard DeMuzio). Third place went to the Counseling Services of Addison County Team (Robert Thorn, Pat Frawley, Rick Wheeler, and Bill Claessens). Each of the top three finishers received engraved plaques along with prizes. Winners of the longest drive were Cathy Coonan and Matt Madore; Lori Lintner and Dan Tricarico were awarded the closest to the pin prizes.
The 50/50 Raffle Prize was won by Steve Burnett of The Richards Group who generously donated his winnings back to the Autism Fund.

100% of the funds raised will go to support Autism needs in our communities. HCRS’ Autism Fund has supported many individuals and families dealing with the ongoing challenges of Autism. For many of these families, it is often difficult, if not impossible, to provide adequate support for their child with Autism. HCRS’ Autism Fund helps to fill the gap with funding for Autism needs such as therapeutic activities, items to assist in calming a child, or technology to help with communication and learning.
