HCRS Hosting Free Wellness Activities in March

HCRS will be hosting four free wellness activities as part of Springfield’s 2nd Annual Wellness Week.

On Wednesday, March 27, from 9:00-10:30 am, HCRS Outpatient Clinician II Roger Guest will be offering an Introduction to Mindfulness session. Participants will focus on being fully present and self-aware using meditation and some gentle movement exercises.

On Thursday, March 28, HCRS Health Coach Nancy Schaefer will be offering three classes. Chair Yoga will be offered from 5:15-5:55 pm for those who may find it difficult to exercise on the ground. Non-Traditional Yoga will be offered from 6:00-6:30 pm. This class blends various styles of yoga with the use of hand weights, resistance bands, and gymnastic balls. A class on Quick & Healthy Meals for Busy People will take place from 6:45–7:30 pm. This class will explore quick and healthy enhancements to popular breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.

Each of these four wellness activities will be held at HCRS’ Headquarters, 390 River Street, Springfield, Vermont. For more information, contact Alice at (802) 886-4567 ext. 2191.
