HCRS recently received significant praise about our mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disability services from the individuals and families we serve. As part of our annual client satisfaction survey, an incredible 97% of clients reported feeling that HCRS services make a difference in their lives. In addition, 95% of clients feel welcomed and treated with respect and 93% of new clients felt they received services in a timely manner. This data is based on responses from approximately 30% of our client base across Windham and Windsor counties.
Each year, HCRS seeks feedback by way of a client satisfaction survey. The survey is comprised of a series of questions that rate client satisfaction with relation to timely access to care, respectful and dignified treatment, person and family centered approaches, confidentiality, and respect for the rights of individuals and families. The information gathered each year proves to be essential to HCRS’ Quality Improvement initiatives as well as our strategic planning efforts. Our annual client satisfaction survey was initiated in 2000 and provides us with comparative data from year to year.
Consistent with our mission to provide creative, collaborative, and compassionate health care services that are responsive to the needs of our communities, the annual satisfaction survey reinforces the exceptional efforts made by staff as indeed providing significant benefit to the individuals served, their families, and our local communities. HCRS is proud of these results and thankful for the opportunity to assist community members to lead healthier, more successful lives.
