HCRS Supports Brattleboro Buddy Walk

Come join the fun at the Brattleboro Buddy Walk on October 3 from 10:00 am to noon at the Brattleboro Common. HCRS is a sponsor of the Buddy Walk and would love to have everyone join us for this fun event.

The Buddy Walk was created in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society as a way to honor National Down Syndrome month and to raise awareness around disabilities. The Brattleboro Buddy Walk will include a one-mile walk through town. The entry fee is $12 per person. Registered participants will also receive a t-shirt, food, fun presentations by folks at the Inclusion Center, live music from the Stockwell Brothers, and a chance to connect with others.

Proceeds of this event will help support the Brattleboro Inclusion Center. The Inclusion Center is a free program for people who have disabilities and anyone else interested in joining their activities. They offer varied activities such as creating music videos, dancing, sports, art, discussions, writing, and connecting with professionals in the community.

You can call (802) 258-4699 for more information or register online at www.brattleborobuddywalk.org

This is a fun, family friendly event, and we hope to see you there!
