HCRS Welcomes New Board Members

HCRS is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Sarah Carter and Tamara Richardson.

Sarah Carter, a retired Vermont elementary school principal, currently serves on the Board of Windsor County Partners, a mentoring organization that serves youth with lunchtime mentors in the Springfield schools and more in depth mentoring throughout the county. Dr. Carter also serves as a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem in the Windsor Family Court, advocating for children who are under the custody or supervision of the Division of Children and Families. She currently lives in Windsor, Vermont.

Tamara Richardson is the Vice President of Human Resources at Savings Bank of Walpole where she has worked for the past 16 years. Prior to that, Ms. Richardson worked at C&S Wholesale Grocers in Brattleboro and spent five years in the United States Air Force as a Personnel Specialist. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Payroll Association, the River Valley Human Resources Group, and other financial organizations. She lives in North Springfield with her husband and son.

HCRS’ Board is currently made up of 14 volunteer, community members who are deeply committed to the success of HCRS and its services.
